AIG upgraded to G7 Licensed Contractor by Malaysian Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB)
Kuala Lumpur, 28th May 2024: The Malaysian Construction Industry Board (CIDB) has officially upgraded AIG from a Grade G3 to Grade G7 Licensed Contractor. This upgrade signifies AIG’s enhanced capabilities to meet CIDB’s stringent requirements, reflecting the company’s robust financial stability, increased tendering capacity, and overall growth.
With the G7 categorization, which represents the highest tier for SME contractors, AIG is now authorized to undertake projects with a value of up to RM10 million and above. This milestone aligns with the company’s strategic direction to provide integrated solutions to its clients.
For information, CIDB was established under the Construction Industry Development Act (Act 520), aims to develop the capacity and capability of the construction industry. The board focuses on enhancing quality and productivity, emphasizing professionalism, innovation, and knowledge to improve the quality of life.
